Stooping K-Lo



Thanks to the immediate new breaking-news ability of blogs (the future of news?) and the inside scoop of Faggoty-Ass Faggot, it has just been announced that K-Lo (Kimberley Locke) will be the headliner at Cleveland Pride.

Now I know she wasn't on my list. ;)

I don't want to get down on Pride, because I do know they have little money or support, but c'mon.

There are TONS of artists that perform quality (original) music for free, or MUCH cheaper than what Kimberley Locke would charge. Then again, maybe she is doing this for free (who knows). And they don't all have to be dirty hippies (like I like). I guess I can't help but negatively interpret what this says about gay culture in Cleveland, when an American Idol finalist is a headliner. But then again, I think I have seen all of 20 minutes of American Idol... ever. Does she sing her own stuff, or will it be all covers?

And let me state this again, I do have faith in Pride and the people running it. I think they just need more support.

I've had many people request I turn-in my gay card and give the blender back. I guess this just gives them another reason (besides never having seen the Sound of Music)...
