Just received this from their newsletter... I'm really hoping this album will be great. I'm also excited about the last statement, saying this is the beginning of a new world for The Dandy Warhols... we'll see.

We're embarking on a new voyage today. Like John Glenn, Laika the dog, and Captain James T. Kirk, our course is set to a strange new world, where no Dandy has gone before. Separated from the tether of Mission Control, we are masters of our own destiny. This is an adventure, and we're glad to have you along for the flight.

Beginning today, May 05, 2008, ...Earth To The Dandy Warhols... will be available for free play in over 10,000 AMI Jukeboxes. We're also relaunching dandywarhols.com, where you will be treated to a download of the opening track of ETTDW, "The World The People Together (Come On)".

And hey, If you're in San Francisco today, come on down at five to 111 Minna Gallery (111 Minna St @ 2nd) for a free listening party with us. We'll play the record, have some drinks, some food, Zia will spin some tunes, and who knows what else. (It's a Dandy Warhol party, what won't happen?)
