Still here... Major updates.



But not sure for how much longer... iBlog is officially dead (dumbasses) so I'm looking around for another blog platform, but I still have a TON of things to update. So until I get another platform (and name) started, keep coming back for updates. Here are a couple random things:

With Pollstar Premium dying, JamBase is offering the same service (though artists only, no venues). They even have a cool service where you can auto-include anyone in your iTunes app by uploading your library XML document! Just signing up for it now, and i'll let you know how it is.

Girlyman has a live album coming out!

"Our new live album, tentatively entitled "Somewhere Different Now (Live)," is being mastered as we speak. We're so excited! As some of you know, we recorded our entire fall 2007 tour and then picked out our favorite performances and packed them into a full-length CD. The new recording will feature more than 70 minutes of live Girlyman, including brand new, previously unrecorded Girlyman songs, previously unreleased cover songs, some choice tuning songs, some random stories, and more. All cobbled together, mixed, and lovingly designed by...us!"

Bitch is producing the new Ferron album!! Can't say I'm a huge Ferron fan, but you have to respect what she's done for women's music. With Bitch behind the controls, I'm pretty excited to see what comes of this.

Ani is releasing another DVD... Live in Babeville, which was shot over 2 nights during the opening of her renovated church venue in Buffalo called Babeville. Due out April 1st (pre-order March 18th).

Pitchfork Music Festival 2008 pre-sale has started!

No Depression Magazine is dead. :(
