Ani DiFranco Updates...



Yesterday I just pre-orderd my copy of Canon, as well as her book of art & poetry - Verses. I also picked up the latest of the Live Bootleg Series (Boston, 11/10/06). All at a discount with free shipping!

This past Sunday I was talking with my friend Brad and how he's excited to be seeing the little Folksinger at the Lorain Palace Theater next Friday -- and how I'm pissed I'm going to be missing it. (Grrr.....). Well, the question came up about my favorite Ani track. It's such a challenging question because of the long span of her career and the different places I've been in my life as I've been listening to her. My answer however was the live version of Both Hands from the double live disc, Living in Clip as performed with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. A tough one, but my answer none-the-less.

Well, today Scenestars had pointed me to a video of the Re-Recording of Both Hands for Canon!! I have to say that I'm very pleased with the re-do, and I'm even a little more disgruntled that I'll be missing her show... But enough griping, here's the video.
