Thursday Night Battle: No Winner!



So after the previous blog entry where I waxed poetic on the pros of each show in an effort to decide which I would attend, I ended up deciding to stay home. You see, last week DeVane had returned from visiting his family/friends in Atlanta and came back with redesign ideas for both bedrooms and kitchen (along with several dozen yards of fabric and a sewing machine). We also had friends coming up this weekend, so the goal was to get both rooms painted, curtains made, etc. before they came. Thursday night being the last night before they arrived, it became apparent my absence would set us back on this goal. And besides, DeVane had been working his ass off the past 2 days, so I felt it was my duty to help.

This wasn't an easy decision, and I think having a hard time choosing between shows helped make the decision to just stay home a little easier -- that is until my friend Alissa called. It was about 5:00pm, and when I checked her message, she said she had 2 (good) FREE tickets to the show, including BACKSTAGE PASSES!

Oh now come on! What are the chances... So now after making the tough decision to not go, now I had an even harder decision. Take the free passes, or stick with my decision to stay home and help D sew curtains and paint. I did what the good boyfriend would do and stayed home. You can tell I love him. :)
