Guster is Coming...



This Sunday, Guster will be performing at the House of Blues... While a Guster show would normally have me giddy, there are a couple things weighing in against going... I thought I'd share them here to help me figure out if I should go.

1. It's at the House of Blues. Blech... Though I think they might be a little better suited for a decent show there than some acts (like Lucinda Williams), but I'm just not sure I'm ready for another disappointment.

2. I did see them recently at John Carroll University, which was also a horrible venue. I guess I'm scared to repeat that experience at HOB.

3. It's the same night as the Oscars, which isn't normally my cup of tea but we have some friends having a get together that night that would be a lot of fun.

4. Going to a friends house for a gathering is cheaper than the 2 $20 tickets and the 4-6 $5 beers at HOB.

All that versus...

IT'S GUSTER!! And I LOVE their new album!
