One Step Forward, Two Steps Back



I hit a bump in the road on the way to iBlog 2.0 and now I'm having to revert back to the original version. I really hope they get a stable version of 2.0 soon. Because of this setback I had to manually re-enter the most recent entries (in case you're wondering why they're reappearing in your RSS readers), and lose the CSS work I had done.

We ended up skipping out on the Under the Influence of Giants show at the Grog Shop last night. We were out for food & drinks at the Winking Lizard (working on our World Tour), and just decided we couldn't wait for Under the Influence of Giants who were the 4th of 5 bands that night... are we getting old or what.

I am hoping to make it to The Apples in Stereo show tonight at the Grog. There's only two bands and the show is promptly starting at 9:00 (according to the Grog Shop website). They have been making quite a big splash with their new album and I really like it. I'll have to call the venue to see if they're going to sell out and if I'll have to get my tickets early on today.

In other news... I just downloaded The Apples in Stereo new album from a new online music store called Audio Lunchbox. I have to say that I think I like them as much, if not more than eMusic . They both offer subscription service, but you can still buy straight-up albums without being on a plan. And you can preview 30 seconds of each song continually without having to leave the browser. Sometime soon I'm hoping to write a little more on these DRM-free download stores I'm finding, and to keep an updated list of my recommended stores along the right side menu.
