So many shows (and a new bathroom)!

Hey all. Hope everyone had a nice weekend... In case you're curious, the ATL trip was GREAT! Big shout out to Laura & D's Mom (Terri) for hosting us. Everything went swimmingly... all except for the run-in with the Cops in Tennessee.. be on your best behavior when driving through that state. ;) Once we got back, rather then get back to normal every-day life, we spent a couple days re-doing our bathroom. Because no other picture really stood out for this post (and I hate posts that are all text & no photos) I thought I would share our new bathroom! D did most of the work and had the vision... I was just the "hired hand."

But now that I'm getting back to daily life and reading up on my emails and visiting my favorite sites, I'm running across a slew of shows to see and information to share!

First and foremost, there are some great shows coming!! Tonight I'm seeing We Are Scientists at the Grog Shop, but not without stopping at the Barking Spider first to catch Slackjaw. Then Friday I get to see the man who's progeny I adore so much. Yes, Loudon Wainwright III will be performing at the Kent Stage! A great week for live music.

I'd also recommend checking out my concert calendar for even more dont-miss shows on their way to the Cleveland / Midwest area!

Highlights include:
Cake / Tegan & Sara @ HOB this Sunday
Aimee Mann @ the Odeon (which is going out of business!) on 2/3
Lucy Kaplansky @ Beachland on 2/10
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club @ the Odeon 2/13
The Black Keys @ The Agora 2/25
etc. etc...

Also, if you hadn't noticed, Apple has introduced a whole slew of things at last week's Macworld Conference. Yeah, yeah, Pentium processors... whatever. What excited me most is their new iLife suite, which includes new software package called iWeb which includes an HTML editor, new blogging app, and photostreaming... all of which I can see being used heavily for this blog! However, iBlog 2.0 is about to come out, so it'll take some testing to see which will win my heart and loyalty. Either way, a new look will be a refreshing change!
