Barenaked Josh



Hope everyone is having a joyous holiday. It's been going well for me, but I'm really looking forward to this new year... Along with the new year will come a slightly altered look to this blog, as well as catching up on my concert reviews. Expect to see the barrage soon...

But just a couple quick things to point out. With some of the xmas money I scored this last weekend, I hopped online to buy the new Josh Rouse EP "Bedroom Classics Volume 2" which looks to be on his own label, but is being distributed through Nettwerk Records (you know... the Canadian / Sarah McLachlan label). After grabbing the EP, I checked out the main storefront to see how it was organized and to see what they offered... and I see this:

Leave it to BNL to come up with something like this... Here are the deets:

Quite a brilliant idea if I do say so myself. Though I don't see this as a good mass media music distribution format... Why you ask? Because from the standpoint of a collector like myself, there is no easy way to shelve and organize things like this! It's a minor point, but keep in mind I'm finishing up my Library Science degree... :)
