New Dar Williams Release!



I'm happy to follow up with that previously negative post with some amazing news! Every so often I just cruise around to some of my favorite artists websites to see what they are up to, especially if I hadn't heard from them in a while.

Dar Williams is probably one of my top 10 favorite artists of all time... maybe even top 5. I find her to be impeccable. Her music, her spirit, everything. I've seen her a couple times in concert and she is one of the most personable performers I ever met. She is also at that level of artist that I purchase everything she releases, the day it comes out.

Having not heard from her in a while, I was ecstatic to see that there was lots of information about her new album at http://darwilliams.net/, including a release date, cover art and a complete track listing with song samples!

I about fell to the floor when I saw that she is performing Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" with none other than Ani DiFranco. Whoa. I feel like I just struck gold this morning.
