Cleveland Concert Updates / The Thermals, Jens Lenkman, Peter Bjorn & John, Guster, Sea Wolf, Rosanne Cash, etc...



UPDATE! I realized I forgot to check my iConcertCal (a kick-ass iTunes visualizer), and have a couple more dates to add...

This is going to be a crazy-busy Fall for shows. It's depressing knowing that I won't get to make it to all of them, but hopefully you will! Here are the newest additions to my Concert Calendar. Check it out to see the full list of good shows coming.

Guster @ Kent State University's Student Center on Monday, October 1st. Too bad it's at another University. Still bad memories of seeing them at John Carroll.

The same night, Regina Spektor will be at the Cleveland Agora. Kind of a strange venue for her, but I'm diggin' the new album!

Josh Ritter @ Beachland on Thursday, Oct. 11th. I'm really enjoying his new album, The Historical Conquests of Josh Ritter. Pop over to his website to hear some tracks.

Erin McKeown @ The Winchester on Tuesday, October 23rd.

Here's my biggie... The Thermals are coming to the Beachland!! Friday, October 26th! In the Ballroom for $12. I am SOOO there.

Jens Lenkman @ Beachland on Thursday, November 1st - Same night as Tori Amos. I can't say I have much personal experience with Jens, but I do know he's a blogger's fav.

Bruce Springsteen @ Quicken Loans Arena on Sunday, November 4th. Call me old school, but I'd be excited to go see a Bruce Sprinsteen concert. Unfortunately it's at the Q, and I'm sure the tickets will be outrageous. If you go, let me know how it is.

Rosanne Cash will be performing on Saturday, November 10th as part of the Kent State Folk Festival. The line-up hasn't been officially announced yet, but I've got connections. Actually, it's already on iConcertCal as well...

Again, on that same night I'm showing Sea Wolf is coming back to Cleveland at the Grog Shop. While I was all pumped & primed to see Rosanne that night, getting to see a full Sea Wolf set (if that's what this is) at the Grog Shop may trump that. We'll see. Maybe another Battle of the Bands.
