Cleveland Concert Updates / Voxtrot, Au Revoir Simone, Ditty Bops, Ani DiFranco



Here begins another new category. I'm always updating my concert calendar (to the right), but I thought I would also list significant changes/updates here, so they're available through the RSS feed.

As you probably know, the Voxtrot & Au Revoir Simone show was rescheduled. Voxtrot will now be here on Monday, July 16th at the Beachland, which is one day after we get back from Pitchfork. Though I'm liking their new album enough that I might go see them again.

As for Au Revoir Simone, they have unfortunately rescheduled (back to the Beachland Tavern) the same night (Thursday, August 16th) as Modest Mouse at Time Warner Amphitheater... This might be a toss up. A new band I've never seen at the Tavern ($8) or a show I've already seen at the old Tower City ($27.50). hmmm...

The Ditty Bops will be at the Kent Stage on Saturday, September 1st, 2007. I missed their previous show at the Beachland, which was sold out and I heard was EXCELLENT.

Ani DiFranco will be making her first post-pregnancy appearance out in Lorain (Lorain Palace Theatre) on Friday, September 15th. That venue has never popped up on my radar, so it should be interesting. Unfortunately I'll be coming back from Boston that night - so I hope I can make it.
